la soirée des parents
Oct. 15th, 2003 10:21 pmam ego-tripping a .little. that's just what parents' evening does to me. but mrs g said: 'what is the point, i mean really, what is the point of parents' evening when you have a daughter like emma?' and then went on to say that, sometimes, she wishes the rest of the world would melt away so that she could just teach me. it was a lovely little ego-boost that probably sounds terribly arrogant to post here; but i want to be able to look back on it when i'm feeling down & look to the past for solace.
otherwise, have gone down in french remarks. i now have a C on my speaking module instead of a B. but it's still an A overall. so i'm not too gutted. read as: don't really care.
so, i suppose, every aspect of my life is going rather well at the moment. except for the insane overwork. which is not going to go away any time soon. but i'm working through it. in a literal, actually working kind of a way.
also, the osteopath says part of the problem with my back is spending too long at the computer. hah, i say! hah! well. it's not hurting right now.
