She had an upgrade!
I saw a rogue tweet about 'Missy getting overwritten', so I had a fairly clear idea about who the big bad was going to turn out to be. Especially when the suave businessman with the goatee turned up runninggoogle vor!
("Vor is bigger than some nations" says Stephen Fry. As a denizen of Tumblr this does not surprise me. It kinda does surprise me that I didn't hate this cameo, and the "See?!!" "Yes?" gag was appropriately backgrounded.)
brb just going to rewatch the bit where the Master offers to take Graham through his shelf of Doctor Who lore, "a lot of inconsistencies but it's very, very interesting".
In Logopolis, didn't they FILM at Jodrell Bank but call it The Pharos Project? Which makes the Master's non-apology a meta-textual reference as well?
